Protecting yourself and our team during Covid.
In reference to the new government Tier 4 guidelines, this section is designed to give you the correct information and advice about dental treatment during Covid-19.
We follow all government guidelines, regarding social distancing, and PPE. If you have an existing appointment this will still go ahead provided that both you and the staff at the surgery have no Covid symptoms.
If you require an appointment please contact our reception staff, where you can book – emergency appointments are available.
Before the appointment.
Please be aware that patients will not be allowed to enter the building without an existing appointment, which need to be booked via phone.
Please attend alone (unless discussed with reception beforehand), and please be aware that the use of toilet facilities will be limited, so please try to use a toilet if possible before your visit.
You will be contacted by a member of staff 24 hours before your appointment time so that we can ask you some Covid-19 screening questions.
Arriving at your appointment.
Upon arrival, please ring the buzzer, located to the right hand side of the front door. Our reception will open and allow you in, where we will check your temperature and ask you to sanitise your hands.
Additional Covid-19 questions will be asked and will be documented on your record on your date of attendance.
To comply with the 2 metre distancing, access to reception will be limited, then you will be escorted, by a member of staff, to your treatment studio.
Our team will be wearing the appropriate PPE, dependent on which treatment you will be receiving.
After your treatment.
Once we have completed your treatment, we will escort you to the reception. If a further appointment is required our reception staff will arrange this from behind our protective screens.
Finally, you will be escorted from the building by a member of staff.
